The framework is used to generate an event catalog that represents past events and probabilistic future catastrophic events. Loss simulation takes into account diverse tail events ranging from cloud provider outages to wide-scale ransomware attacks.

Yakir is CEO of Kovrr. He started his career in the Israeli intelligence forces. Following his military service, he acquired multidisciplinary experience in software and hardware design, development and product management.

SHALOM BUBLIL
CRO
Shalom is Chief of Risk at Kovrr and a cyber data science expert. Throughout his career, Shalom has acquired unique expertise in cyber intelligence, threat modeling, risk modeling, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Shalom joined an elite Israeli intelligence unit and served for four years specializing in cyber. Following his military service, he joined Lacoon Mobile Security where he led the threat intelligence and threat modeling initiatives.
In his last position before founding Kovrr, he led cyber threat intelligence and modeling efforts at Deep Instinct, developing a commercial detection engine product from scratch based on advanced artificial intelligence technology. Shalom holds a B.A. from the Open University of Israel.
Avi Bashan
VP R&D
Avi is VP R&D at Kovrr and leads engineering and research efforts. He started his career in an elite Israeli intelligence technology unit. Following his service, Avi advised Fortune500 companies on cybersecurity.
Following his consulting period, Avi led research and development efforts at Lacoon Mobile security focusing on discovering novel new attacks and building state of the art malware detection engines.
Lacoon Mobile Security was acquired by Check Point. Avi is a lecturer at Bar Ilan University's Business School and holds a B.Med.Sc from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Kurt Jackson
VP Sales
Kurt is VP Sales, North America. Before joining Kovrr, Kurt led sales and go-to-market strategy for FRISS. He has served in a variety of different management roles related to sales and business development.
Kurt brings extensive experience from some of the most recognized technology and insurance companies such as GhostDraft, Pitney Bowes, and IBM.
While operating in these roles, Kurt has launched new business lines, started operations in new regions and delivered unprecedented growth.
Dr. Marco Lo Giudice
Head of Pricing Models Dev.
Marco is Head of Pricing Models Development. Prior to joining Kovrr, Dr Marco Lo Giudice worked in the catastrophe modeling and exposure management fields for thirteen years, where his most recent role was the Local Head of Pricing at Tokio Millennium Re, UK branch.
His responsibilities included scheduling, organization, and delivery of all pricing activities within the UK office and he managed a team across the CAT and actuarial departments.
